In our pursuit of the Holy Spirit, we often get distracted by the spectacular—the gifts, the tongues, the miraculous signs. We also tend to view our faith through the narrow lens of “getting to heaven.” The Holy Spirit isn’t just a dispenser of spiritual gifts; He is the Master Craftsman of our character. The primary goal of the Spirit’s work in our lives is spiritual formation into the likeness of Christ.
