What We Believe
At Church of the King, we confess the historic Christian faith handed down through the Church across generations and rooted in the witness of Scripture.
Rather than centering our beliefs around a lengthy modern statement, we embrace the ancient creeds of the Church as faithful summaries of the Christian faith, grounding us in the story of the Triune God revealed in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed connect us to the historic and global Church while reminding us that the Christian faith is not something we invent for ourselves, but something faithfully handed down through the generations from the apostles, a faith we receive, live, and proclaim together.
